Leo Batekhin is a designer living and working in New York City. In 2018, he launched OCCHII, a line focusing on unique pieces and artisanal techniques, after graduating with a BFA in Fashion Design from Parsons The New School For Design and working at Narciso Rodriguez, RVN, Protagonist and Matthew Adams Dolan.
Leo’s recent projects include launching SEVER ARTISAN, a platform supporting local artisans and emerging talent in the Arctic Siberia, and teaching design and concept development at Parsons The New School For Design.
Leo’s creative capabilities include concept development, design direction and product development, materiality development & sourcing. Leo’s professional interests include sustainable design practices and human-centered design systems.
He is currently available for design and consulting projects.
